What we collect
On this site: only what you write to us in a form.
If you're a company: your name, your company's name, your phone and your email; the type of need, the number of people, the position, the shift, the start date and the city; any details you choose to add.
If you're applying: your name, your phone and, if you give it, your email; the sector you're interested in, your availability and how you get to work; your résumé, if you attach one. It's not required.
Your social insurance number and identity documents are never requested through the site. They are collected later, at hiring, by another means.
Why
To answer your request and call you back. To assess whether we can fill the position, or whether your profile fits an assignment. Nothing else: we don't build advertising profiles and we don't use this information for sales outreach.
Who has access
The people at C&G Services who handle requests and recruitment. The message is routed through our email service, like any other email.
We don't sell your information. We don't trade it. We don't share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long
Company requests: kept for the length of the business relationship, then for the period required by our accounting and tax obligations.
Applications not selected: two years.
Outside Quebec
Our email and the site are hosted by providers that may process data outside Quebec. If you want your request to stay strictly local, call us instead of using the form.
Our employees
If you work or have worked for C&G Services, here's what we do with your information.
What we keep. Your name, your address, your social insurance number, your position and your start date; your arrival and departure times, your hours worked, your wages, your deductions and your pay dates. That's what the law requires us to keep to declare you and pay you correctly.
Your location. It's recorded only when you record your arrival and departure time, and only if you've accepted it in the app. It's deleted after twelve months.
Who sees it. The people at C&G Services who handle payroll and assignments. The company where you work sees your name, your photo, your position and your hours for its site; never your address, your phone, your email or your wages. The company where you work also sees whether your work authorization was verified (yes or no). It never sees the document.
Feedback on your work. The company where you work may give its opinion on your work (for example: “keep”, “fine”, “replace”) or ask for you to be replaced. Only C&G sees this opinion and this request. We keep them for twelve months after your last day of work at that company.
Safety orientation. On your first day at a company, you confirm in the app that the company showed you the job, the hazards and the equipment. The company confirms it too.
How long. When you leave, we delete your photo and your access to the app. Your phone number and personal email are deleted once your last tax slips have been issued. Your payroll file and your hours are kept for six years after the end of the last year you worked, as tax laws require; then they are destroyed.
After you leave. We write to you only about your last pay and your end-of-employment documents: Record of Employment, T4 and Relevé 1. To call you back for another season, we ask for your consent when you leave.
Erasing your information. If you ask, we erase everything the law doesn't require us to keep, and we explain in writing what remains and why.
A question or a complaint. Write to contact@c-gservices.ca or call 581 398-6079. The person responsible for protecting personal information answers you within thirty days.
Your rights
Loi 25 gives you the right to know what information we hold about you and to get a copy; to have it corrected if it's inaccurate or incomplete; to withdraw your consent and ask for it to be deleted; to file a complaint if our answer doesn't satisfy you.
Write to contact@c-gservices.ca or call 581 398-6079. We answer within thirty days. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
